Meet the Artist
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in my art. My name is Mariah and the prints available on this page are some of my creations.
From a young age I was creating. Whether that be drawing, writing, or crafting. As I continued to grow I traded my creativity to pursue the dreams of education and career opportunities.
I recently found my way back to art thanks to my family. I can say that I have never been happier. My personal interests lie both in dark realism and abstract color! I love painting the human form in all of its glory.
All of my art is mixed media. I work with acrylic paint, paint markers, oil based paints, and water color. My art style can be described as eccentric maximalism. Most times my "too much gene" comes out and I have to reign myself back in to complete a piece. But it makes it fun!
I am lucky to be a fourth generation artist with many successful realism artists to pull techniques from. My grandmother recently summarized my love for odd art as "you be who you be", and damn it she is right.
With that simple encouragement, I will continue to create for myself and those interested in my unwonted art pieces.
